چکیده

(1) Background: Because ecosystem degradation has become a global phenomenon which seriously affects the health of natural ecosystems and human well-being, restoration degraded attracted increasing attention. However, many methods used in current ecological work have rarely combined practices with quantitative goal restoring function. (2) Methods: In this study, based on conceptual framework response-effect traits Community Assembly by Trait Selection model (CATS model), strategy for abandoned mine Wuhai City, China been provided. This connected function targets to appropriate recovery species their required abundances. (3) Results: The results showed that relative abundance ratio 8:2 S. grandis B. dasyphylla was best shady slope, while 6:4 K. tragus repair sunny slope area. (4) Conclusion: study provides typical example applying theory practice will be useful future studies applications. approach ensure governance efforts restore are effective efficient.

Applying trait-based models to achieve functional targets for theory-driven ecological restoration.

Manipulating community assemblages to achieve functional targets is a key component of restoring degraded ecosystems. The response-and-effect trait framework provides a conceptual foundation for translating restoration goals into functional trait targets, but a quantitative framework has been lacking for translating trait targets into assemblages of species that practitioners can actually manip...

environmental effects of gol-e-gohar iron ore mine on groundwater of the area

gol-e-gohar iron ore mine of sirjan in southern part of iran is a large open pit that operates below the groundwater table and during mining operation, dewatering is required to prevent operation processes from flooding. current operation is going on by digging wells in or out of the pit and pumping to prevent flooding. as a result of the former dewatering operation a vast deep cone of depressi...

A Study on the Reclamation and Ecological Restoration in Subsidence Land in Chinese Coal Mine Area

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) technology of bioremediation becomes one of the most hotspots in the research on coal-mining subsidence land. This article based on amorpha fruiticosa planting in the mining subsidence of Shendong mining area as a study object, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi was vaccinated on amorpha fruiticosa after different monitor time, respectively measures are used to anal...

Review of Ecological Restoration Technology for Mine Tailings in China

Article history: Received: 11.11.2014. Received in revised form: 4.2.2015. Accepted: 6.2.2015. The disposal of mine tailings is identified as one source of an environmental impact finally resulting in a typically degraded ecosystem. It can easily cause air and water pollution and is a source of man-made mudslides with high-potential socioeconomic-energy impacts. Pollution control and ecological...

Application of Ecological Theory to Management of Arid Drylands: An Example from China

Rangeland ecosystems shift across dynamic thresholds between differentecological states in response to natural or human-induced factors. These differentecological states are the result of interactions among climate, soils, grazing history, and management practices. The notion of a single ‘‘pristine’’ final state is onlyconceptual in nature, and because of this, dynamic thresholds and the effects...
